We are looking for a Warehouse Business Process Owner to provides leadership and knowledge in designing complex processes to improve warehouse operations effectiveness in order to optimize fulfilment. Designs, tests, and implements solutions to improve business performance to achieve strategic goals.
Working in a matrix organization, Warehouse Business Process Owner need to deal with different Business Units convincing teams in Operations Function and stakeholders on different levels about the following topics:
Warehouse Process Standardization & Harmonization
Development of Key Performance Indicators to measure Warehouse Operations Efficiency and Control
Guidance and support of EWM implementation & usage
Lead Warehouse improvement projects in collaboration with Solution Architects and local teams.
Responsible for the overall process of warehouse management. He/she ensures that processes are properly defined and that they interact well with touchpoints in other processes.
Understand the business trends and initiate the creation & changes to the business process.
Managing large projects, complex process transformations with limited oversight from manager.
Use key performance indicators that help to measure the effectiveness of the new processes and project as it evolves.
Coaching, reviewing work to improve the competencies of warehouse responsibilities.
Collect and analyse data from different systems, procedural activities and information flows in order to assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes.
Use lean six sigma, kaizen methodologies and skills to develop and justify logistics solutions.
Research industry benchmark and regulatory issues to draw for solutions development.
Perceptive: A process owner should be able to see the big picture while keeping an eye on the little details. They often notice what others may miss and are sensitive to any subtle changes that could affect the process.
Leadership-oriented: Process owners motivate all members of the team to achieve their goals throughout the entire process.
Knowledgeable: Business improvement projects can involve a lot of moving parts and levels of complex information. Process owners must be experts in the process they are involved with and have the proper knowledge of team member, customer and supplier needs, resources and requirements.
Adaptable: Processes are prone to change. Process owners live for this change, able to adapt at any moment and make decisions that benefit the process.
Driven: process owners are driven to succeed, no matter what challenges they may face
Knowledge and Experience
10 -15 years of experience in the field of Warehouse Management
Practical experience with project management methodologies and tools
Practical experience with lean six sigma and kaizen methodologies and tools
Proficient in creating process flow diagrams. business requirements documents, blueprints
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive expertise in designing solutions that address business requirements.
Experience of design and implementation of cross-technology, cross-functional integrated solutions.
Knowledge of German, Spanish or Italian languages will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical. problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and teams on different organizational level.
