R&D Digital Team Leader

Description

Your responsibilities:

• You will manage and coordinate team resource according to the priority of R&D projects.

• Building up team competence of digital technology under the orientation of TC strategy and business requirement in R&D sectors.

• Guiding and reviewing the development procedures and results (e.g. algorithm and data analysis) in various cases per internal/external requirements.

• Work closely with various departments within Hitachi Energy, including R&D Centers, Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain Management, Operations, etc.

• Support root causes analyses and quality issue to improve the quality of existed product and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Your background:

• Master's degree and above in electrical engineering, automation or other related fields, with 3+ year experience preferably in a global corporate environment.

• Team leadership experience will be a plus;

• Sound knowledge on software development (e.g. embedded software/desktop software) or hardware development (e.g. embedded hardware development / power electronics). Familiar with agile development;

• Analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving;

• A skilled communicator, with high intercultural sensitivity and who can interface with stakeholders;

• Familiar with high voltage products and its application in power system would be a plus.

• Good oral, writing, listening English is required.
