Description:

The successful candidate will be working on several of the leading products. Strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to assume ownership and drive issues to completion, are the key success factors.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical foundation, especially related to creating solid front-end code from a detailed specification, including wireframes/interactive prototypes, interaction patterns, and visual design mockups. A proven track record of creating modern GUI interfaces using the latest technologies is critical.

The candidate should be adept at proposing and documenting software and UI design, analyzing requirements, and developing high-quality front-end builds. The candidate should understand the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), be responsible, be able to report and deliver on time, embrace best UI practices, communicate clearly and effectively with peers and stakeholders. The candidate must be hands-on and capable of analyzing existing code, writing new code, testing, and debugging.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of industry experience in developing front-end platforms and applications
• Expert knowledge of Angular and HTML5/CSS3
• Working knowledge of GUI frameworks
• Working knowledge of Javascript frameworks
• Experience in agile development projects
• Upper-intermediate (B2) level of spoken and written English

Required soft skills:
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate on technical issues

As a plus:
• Domain knowledge in ITSM, ITOM, ITIL
• Familiarity with SVG graphics, D3.js, or yFiles libraries

Job Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams of:

- Product managers

- Software architect

- Other developers

- QA engineers

- Interaction and visual design lead
• Dive into a project identifying issues and suggesting solutions
• Collaborate with UX designers to define the next generation of BMC front-end interfaces
• Extend the existing GUI with new functionality
• Build standard components that can be leveraged throughout the organization
• Seek and give technical assistance across project boundaries
• Require no supervision on assigned tasks
• Be responsible for scheduling own time and for quality completion of multiple tasks within a varying environment of changing constraints
