Description

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Evaluate and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Perform IT risk management activities including risk analysis, development of core controls and mappings to specific audit requirements
  • Perform internal IT control checks as needed
  • Provide support and facilitation for required IT audits (J-Sox, Hitco 2, parent company audits, etc.) including but not limited to:
    • Auditor communication & coordination of activities
    • Process owner identification
    • Evidence collection/organization, review & evaluation
  • Coordinate and centralize IT audit findings and improvement opportunities including tracking of remediation activity
  • Reporting of results to leadership
  • Perform IT process evaluations to facilitate process optimization to support structured and efficient IT operations
  • Investigate suspected improper activities as assigned
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity in all activities
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

  • Proven ability to work well within a team both local and remote including effective use of a collaboration tool for communication
  • Be successful in a deadline intensive environment managing multiple conflicting requirements
  • Ability and desire to develop comprehensive understanding of overall IT model (operations, infrastructure, business systems, security, administration and governance) including how each interacts
  • Ability to travel to support regional initiatives
  • Must operate with high degree of honesty, confidentiality, and integrity

Education: Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification(s), or equivalent IT or Governance experience.  Working knowledge of Automotive manufacturing environments desired. 

           

Experience: 5+ years working experience desired in IT or Governance related fields including, but not limited to:

  • IT Governance (policies and procedures, risk management and internal control)
  • IT Operations Concepts
  • Auditing Operations
  • BCP/DRP Concepts, Design & Implementation
  • Risk Mitigation
  • Process Mapping and Optimization
  • Root Cause Analysis & Deficiency Remediation

Supervisory Responsibilities:  N/A

Working conditions:

Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Travel: Domestic and international travel may be required.
