The People / HR function is currently going through a transformation towards building a best in class HR organization to support GL's fast-growing business: With this in mind, we are searching for an Analyst to support our Total Rewards team.

Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards - Benefits, the Analyst will be responsible for supporting a wide range of critical benefits, compensation, and compliance initiatives in GlobalLogic. The role is focused primarily on our Americas region but will work with global programs and processes. A deep understanding of Americas best practices and regional trends for benefits is crucial. The person in this role will work with executives and will provide strong knowledge of core HR systems and the desire and willingness to learn and support new HR ventures will be key to success.

Role is preferred to be based out of the Santa Clara office but hybrid/remote work is available for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience working in benefits for a global organization
  • Experience working with and supporting multiple internal teams, vendors, programs and coverage lines
  • Strong Excel skills as they will be used on a day-to-day basis, strong preference for individuals to be comfortable doing macros, vlookups, and pivot tables.
  • Solid project management skills
  • Analytical skills required
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the Americas
  • Familiarity with Docusign is a plus
  • Ability to learn systems quickly such as HRIS and related payroll programs, Workday experience a plus

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; higher level qualifications prefered

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate benefit programs effectiveness, utilization, and costs via data analysis
  • Identify key trends within data analysis for discussion within Total Rewards team
  • Work with Total Rewards and business leaders to brainstorm creative solutions to business challenges and apply analytical methods to overcome the challenges
  • Collaborate within Total Rewards to evaluate new vendors and programs in RFP processes
  • Manage payroll adjustments in ADP WorkforceNow for benefit and retirement deductions
  • Provide audit support in the form of data collection for benefits plans
  • Resolve complex employee cases, acting as a go between for shared services, HRIS, and vendors to provide speedy resolution for our employees
  • Work with shared services, IT/ERP, and vendors to resolve systemic problems by determining root causes and filling the gaps
  • Assist Compensation team with executive team analyses as requested by leadership
  • Assist in per pay period funding of retirement plans via Fidelity and HSA Bank
  • Partner with Accounting team in reconciling monthly benefits costs
  • Act as day to day for Workers' Compensation claims which includes providing data and working with carrier to get whole picture
  • Utilize Docusign to send sensitive documents at the discretion of HR Leadership

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in San Jose, CA to be $84,000 to 100,000 K and reflects base salary only and does not include any additional bonus/variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
