Description

For our Technology Center in Brilon/Germany, we are looking for an innovation driver who energetically supports the development of Resibloc dry-type transformer. You can apply your extensive know-how in electrical engineering to develop our transformer products and sustainably contribute to our success. If you have both sound experimental skills and a keen sense for trends, you are here in the right place – join us.

We are looking for a Scientist or Engineer around Electrical Engineering with a background in High Voltage Engineering and dielectrics with strong project management skills. Tasks

  • Strong project participation and project management for products and technology development of dry-type transformers

  • Developing, advancing and optimizing solutions for high voltage-engineering and dielectrics-related topics in a global environment

  • Design and manufacture small prototypes for proof of concepts

  • Perform and supervise application-oriented experiments

  • Precise problem analysis and derivation of suitable solutions

  • Perform scientific and technical assistance

  • Contribute to the transfer and the implementation of project outcomes into the operative Hitachi Energy units

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering with a focus on High-Voltage Engineering and Dielectrics

  • Sound knowledge in project management

  • A keen sense for current and future technical trends and technologies in the context of dry-type transformers

  • Good English and German skills

  • Motivation, creativity and self-starter

  • Result-oriented and communicative team player within an interdisciplinary group
