This is why we need an Engineering Training Lead for Hub Europe.
Being part of our Team, you will work with hundreds of Engineers across several locations, helping them to cope with the growing demanding for Engineering capacity in our business.
Reporting to the Hub Engineering Manager for Power Transformers in Europe, you will lead our training and certification initiatives, foster collaboration with universities, ensure proper onboarding of new colleagues, develop and support a learning community of passionate people.
Your responsibilities:
Work in close contact with our Engineering Teams across Europe to map and analyze the existing skills and identify competency gaps
Design and implement effective and efficient recruiting and onboarding programs, understanding and leveraging the resources available both in proximity to our factories (e.g. local universities) and globally
Maintain our skills matrix and organize appropriate certification programs and initiatives to further development our capabilities within and across our Engineering locations
Collaborate with our experts to produce training material and to organize and deliver the required training sessions
Keep track of learning initiatives “on the job” as well as coaching and mentoring
Establish appropriate KPI’s to monitor our learning and development process and initiate the required improvement initiatives in case of deviations

Your background:
MSc in Engineering
8-10 years of experience in an Engineering function, preferably in Transformers
Empathetic people developer, with international experience and strong intercultural sensitivity
Experience with employer branding and talent acquisition
Passionate about attracting, developing and retaining individuals, both new, as well as senior professionals
