Accountabilities:
The department of Project Management developing contract strategy and project proposals based on the policies, requirements, budgets and timescales, ensuring that they meet the agreed technical standards.
Identifying, discussing, negotiating and reviewing the contract baseline (such as terms and conditions etc.) and other documentation incorporated within the contract and ensuring its compliance to maximize financial and operational performance and risk reduction.
Projects delivery management and lifecycle coordination of Railway projects and tenders according to Cenelec 50126 and V-Cycle model
Contract Management of the main contracts with the final customer and with the subcontractors
Risk analysis, identification and management
Project Budget and Forecast Management
External stakeholder management (customers, local and national authorities, national safety authorities, certification authorities, assessors, suppliers, competitors, railway industry association)
Site activities (Installation and Commissioning) planning, budget analysis and verification and progress supervision
Change Management (Scope of work changes and Variation Order/ Claim Management)
Product and System certification process support
Physical progress and financials reporting and KPIs
Projects strategies and planning
System Handover and Operation and Maintenance Training coordination
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
Minimum10 years’ experience as project manager
Knowledge of HOAI (Honoraranordnung für Architekten und Ingenieure), the processes and phases of VOB
Knowledge of the main guidelines applicable in German project execution 'richtlinie'
General knowledge of the main planning and field access rules
General knowledge of the main homologation processes applicable in Germany
Experience as manager of multiple teams or team leaders
Experience with ownership of short to mid-terms execution of functional strategy
Good at investigation and analyzing
Strong team player
Strong influencing, networking and teamwork skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work methodically
Commitment to challenge and problem solving
Education/Qualifications :
With 5 years' higher education, you are a graduate of a business school or university.
