Description:

The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002. GlobalLogic is building a team that will be responsible for a specific area - maintenance of products that are utilized by major US telecom operators.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:
Strong technical QA experience
Unix Shell scripting
Command line
Oracle DB basic table manipulation. Some proficiency in SQL

Excellent skills in defining, documenting, and analyzing test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test results
Excellent test case execution and troubleshooting skills
End-to-end knowledge of Orders/Provisioning Inventory/Equipment/Circuits and the ability to create complex inventory hierarchies, equipments and circuits for both regression testing, feature testing, and defect testing.
Ability to build and test equipment hierarchy templates according to vendor specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well across teams
Strong analytical skills - understand business processes and issues from business users
Proficient in client-server applications.
Good level of verbal and written communication in English.

Test Automation experience and experience in creating automated tests will be a plus.
Telecom Domain will be a plus.
Knowledge of MVS systems will be a plus
The Spanish language will be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

- Knowledge acquisition: learn assigned product to smallest details, become a good expert in the product
- Product test is responsible for providing an independent evaluation of the quality of the system, both software and documentation.
- Conducted end-to-end provisioning system flow-through testing for Network Equipment Provider vendors and clients.
- Analyzed/Created/Maintained the end-to-end communication, and configurations for all product environments internally & client customer.
- Updates to the test plans for MRs, enhancements, etc.
- Test enhancement utilities.
- Product Test administration, maintenance, and support; oversee test case execution remains on plan; resolve defect roadblocks
- Create defect reports, create an execution plan
- Perform system testing, regression testing
- Work closely with the Dev team and other stakeholders to understand the project goals and requirements
- Understand & test complex & integrated systems
