Description

Mission:

Sales Account Specialist works on developing solid relationship with Hitachi Energy Mexico customers and account. Executing medium to long-term planning to ensure Hitachi base business in assigned segment.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands the key business drivers of the relevant customers business and business environment and interprets the impact and opportunity for Hitachi Energy.
  • Participates in the development of sales strategies for the account by proving the customer's current business and long-term plans.
  • Leads the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
  • Defines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process across Divisions and Countries.
  • Sells products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets representing all Hitachi Energy.
  • Creates added value for the customer and Hitachi by ensuring a coordinated sale approach
  • Monitors competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
  • Gives input on market price developments.
  • Drives application of standardized Marketing and Sales processes and tools (Sales force , account plans, etc). for the account.
  • Resolving problems and ensuring high quality service to the customers.

Your Background:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • 3- 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience in sales of electrical equipment and machines    
  • Knowledge in renewable energy    
  • Experience in sales of power generation, transmission and distribution projects.
