Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex integration solutions within our organization. As an Integration Architect, you will be responsible for developing integration strategies, designing architecture blueprints, and overseeing the implementation of integration projects across multiple systems, platforms, and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration patterns, a strong technical background, and experience in architecting scalable and resilient integration solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of integration strategies and roadmaps to support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design end-to-end integration architectures that encompass systems, applications, data sources, and APIs.
Evaluate existing integration technologies, platforms, and tools, and make recommendations for enhancements or replacements.
Define standards, best practices, and guidelines for integration development, deployment, and maintenance.
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the integration project lifecycle.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing and improving integration solutions.
Work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, and other IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall IT architecture and strategies.
Stay current with emerging technologies, integration trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption.
Mentor and coach junior integration developers and architects to build their skills and capabilities in integration architecture.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience as an Integration Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role, with at least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing integration solutions.
Deep understanding of integration patterns, including message-oriented, service-oriented, and event-driven architectures.
Extensive knowledge of integration technologies, platforms, iPaaS and standards, such as ESBs, API gateways, messaging queues, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and XML/JSON.
Hands-on experience with integration middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, and performance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex integration challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, integration technologies, or related fields are a plus (e.g., TOGAF, MuleSoft Certified Architect).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is desirable.
