The role
  • 6-9 years of system administration experience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (versions 5-9), Oracle Enterprise Linux (versions 6-9) with multipathing and LVM knowledge
    Experience with EXT3,4 Filesystems and Logical Volume Manager
    Red Hat Satellite patch/configuration management
    Experience managing VMs particularly VMware
    Good scripting skills
    Ansible/Ansible Automation Platform
    Nice to have" skills that would be a plus:
    Ubuntu knowledge
    Redhat High Availability Clustering
    Dell hardware knowledge
    Experience managing cloud resources - OCI (preferably) or AWS or Azure
  • Exp in Redhat/Oracle Linux 7 and above with multipathing and LVM knowledge
    Experience managing VMs on ESXi
    Exp on one or more of the cloud platforms - preferably OCI.
    Exp in Patch management with/without Redhat satellite server
    Exp in ITIL and agile framework
    Exp in writing and understanding scripts with Bash Shell/Ansible/Python and good understanding of YAML amd JSON formats.
    Exp in Hardware and Operating system troubleshooting.
    Exp in Network storage like NFS, Samba, etc.
    Exp in LDAP, Power Broker, Identity Manager, NIS+ , Active Directory is an added advantage.
    Experience on any one of the Cluster technologies - Pacemaker/Redhat cluster/Veritas clusters/serviceguard cluster on Linux is added advantage
