The team

This team leverage deep HR functional knowledge to help Hitachi Digital enhance employee experience through our HR Technology Stack. They are passionate about leading and supporting business and HR leaders in transforming HR requirements into technology solutions.

The role
  • Act as a global business owner for HR technology, working with HR Center of Excellence Shared Services and IT to prioritize enhancements or issues in legacy systems, focusing on the future Workday implementation.
  • Oversee and maintain the existing HR technology stack, including Oracle systems and custom-developed tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate and enhance current systems and ensure smooth functioning of HR systems, troubleshooting issues in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Serve as the gatekeeper for Legacy Oracle HR system, Tableau analytics & reporting, homegrown systems for performance and career development, and boutique vendors for total rewards and survey management.
  • Manage all aspects of HR technology related to ongoing and future M&As.
  • Work on initiatives such as data management & analysis, process design, career architecture, and Hire2Retire process improvements.
  • Own the process of extracting, transforming, and loading employee data to Hitachi's systems at regular intervals
  • Lead the Workday Implementation in the areas of functional, data management, or integrations, depending on prior experience
  • Develop and execute the decommissioning of legacy systems in alignment with the Workday Journey roadmap
  • Transition to managing Workday technology and Indian team members in the future implementation of Workday across the organization
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience in managing HR technology systems, particularly Oracle and custom-developed tools.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes supported by technology, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of Workday functionalities and modules related to HR, Workday integration management, or Workday data management is preferred.
  • Experience in leading Workday implementation projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to oversee data migration from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Experience working in a global organization with a diverse workforce and an understanding of international HR regulations and practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Workday Certification) is a plus, but not essential
