Own the Future, become a part of the team and join our Drancy plant, Paris, France as:

R&D Controller (m/f/d) – 1 year fixed term contract with possibility of evolution on an permanent contract

In this position you will integrate the local finance team. Main goal will be the analysis and control of the financial and operational performance of our R&D Center in Drancy, follow up the R&D capitalization and investments and provide financial support to the CIR and annual audit. You’ll report to the site controller.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

• Follow and produce finance key performance indicators for R&D costs through monthly reporting (OPEX and CAPEX)
• Follow customer contributions (OTP) and issue invoices
• Prepare the internal invoices to the plant when production starts
• Compute hourly rate for R&D capitalization
• Support documentation for closing
• Be the contact point of auditors during yearly closing
• Make  recommendations  and  analysis to  support  management decisions
• Compute the CIR grant amount in collaboration with Tax Department
• Collect documents for Tax Administration
• In charge of management fees process for the Brake Business Unit

Your profile

Key Competencies

• Knowledge of accounting norms, regulations and standards
• Good finance culture
• Good MS Office skills : Excel, Power Point
• Fluent English level
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Rigor and Organization
• Collaboration and Teamwork
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Managerial courage

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business School or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in financial control in an international / automotive company
