Hitachi Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for our Alamo, TN factory location.

Maintenance Planners/ Schedulers play a critical role in ensuring that assets are well-maintained, and that required maintenance tasks are scheduled and completed before any breakdowns or failures occur.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
  • Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs.
  • Working with engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades.
  • Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Working with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.

Your Background:

  • Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience related to scheduling or planning in an industrial atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software.
  • Experience with SAP or Emaint is a +.
  • Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing Engineering degree a +
  • PMP certifications a +
