Accountabilities

The Maintenance Field Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of train systems through comprehensive maintenance and repair activities. This role involves diagnosing and addressing technical issues, performing regular inspections, and collaborating with various teams to maintain optimal train performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of operational safety and performance in the railway industry.

• Support to maintenance operation in the troubleshooting and management of maintenance activities, analysing any technical issue and suggesting the necessary corrective action

• Prepare the technical specification.

• Assure the RAM data collection in the service operation of the vehicles, defining the data records structure according to the contractual requirements

• Responsible for reporting maintenance and safety defects, operational events and failure

• Responsible for supporting project team activities through on-field analysis

• Optimizing the execution of maintenance regimes and assisting maintenance optimization in the development of optimized maintenance practices in support of current and future contracts
