Description

Main Accountabilities: 

  • Responsible for sales of products/systems within a designated regional market in accordance with the different HEPG (Hitachi Energy Power Grid) product group strategies.  

  • Promote the different products/systems within his regional market area in coordination with the HEPG product groups. 

  • Build long term customer relationships into his regional market area and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities. 

  • Coordinate with the different HEPG product groups all the aspects of the bid (opportunity launching, collect all the required information, controlling bid timing, bid follow up, etc.)  

  • Provide market intelligence regarding competitors, price level, strategies, etc.  

  • Reporting according to the HEPG process and M&S tools all the sales activities and information 

  • Managing and supporting all the aspects of the sales once an order has been obtained (Customer identification/creation, credit limit request, commercial conditions acceptance, kick off meeting attendance, payment track support, project manager support, etc.) 

  • Collaborate, in a proactive way, with the rest of the FES organization to obtain the total sales budget defined at country level 

 

Background: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, although other technical degrees could be analyzed/accepted. 

  • More than 3 years of experience in sales activities related with technical products/systems. 

  • Focus on personal objectives working alone but able to interact into a team with an open and collaborative skill. 

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills both verbal and written, negotiation skill, influencing skills. 

  • Tidy, able to organize his/her own work without direct supervision. 

  • Available to travel within his/her regional market area. 

  • Customer focus. Ready to listen to the client, understand their necessity and guide to the bid team according to them. 

  • Good communication skills in Spanish and English.
