The team

Join our newly created Hitachi Digital Go-to-Market function, a dynamic and innovative team responsible for leading and delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. We are a global, complex organization that values internal collaboration and strives to provide a single front to Hitachi entities interfacing Business Units to create digital offerings and support digital transformation.

The role

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for our energy sector client base. Your role will involve:
  • Overseeing governance and adherence to SLAs of One Hitachi team during the post-sales/ delivery phase
    • Ensuring adherence to various external and internal SLAs (e.g., on-time delivery, delivery time variance, order accuracy, cost per delivery, # of customer complaints, customer satisfaction, etc.)​
    • Hosting regular post-sales governance meetings with One Hitachi team and deal desk to track updates, spot bottlenecks, and escalate as necessary​
  • Serving as escalation point in case of issues/ differences in points of view across BUs/ Digital entities during delivery
    • Detecting issues/ differences in points of view early, acting as escalation point to help resolve as the program manager, and escalating to senior leadership if necessary​
  • Codifying and capturing learnings on implementing One Hitachi solutions
    • Codifying delivery requirements and best practices on implementation of One Hitachi digital solutions for institutionalized knowledge​
What you'll bring
  • 10+ years of experience in project management with experience in complex, multi-BU deals and projects within digital transformation, IoT, IT/OT convergence, AI, cloud computing, big data analytics, and related emerging technology solution sales, preferably selling into energy sector
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to influence, negotiate, and persuade ​
  • Proven success in bringing together appropriate team members across an organization for pursuit of complex new opportunities ​
  • People skills to drive internal collaboration in a global, complex organization ​
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with all levels across the company ​
  • Proficie ncy in CRM systems such as Salesforce, data analytics tools, and sales enablement technologies ​
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to collect, process, and organize large amounts of information effectively; attention to detail ​
