Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Operations Manager for Product Line Distribution & Traction Transformers (DTT) in HUB Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa (APMEA) for the Transformers Business to join their team in Vietnam, Turkey, South Korea. Mission Statement:
Including health & safety on top, ensure efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, project management and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs and proper productivity level) with the responsibility of across multiple countries in HUB APMEA PL DTT. This position will be reporting to Product Line Lead, DTT.
Your Responsibilities:
Operational performance: Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations in the countries where responsible.
Collaborates with Operations Strategy Development function to implement world-class processes as well as CAPEX plans in the units. Drives synergies among units.
Owns costs & performance in the factories to deliver revenue gross margin in line with Order gross margins and improve output of the units
Operations improvement: Drive execution excellence in the factories by overseeing production processes, managing resources efficiently and implementing best practices to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost (SQDIC) targets.
Budget: Participates in setting annual operation budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Customer Relations: Provide support to the units to solve the issues with the customer
Deliver strong S&OP processes, and professional project management across the value chain
People leadership and Development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related field. (master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 10 years of experience in Management, preferably in operations.
Demonstrated ability to operate and deliver results in a multi-cultural environment
Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence
Strong customer management skills
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
