Mission Statement:
Generate unconstrained demand plan and finished goods rationalization in close coordination with relevant functions. Measure, report and drive improvement of demand planning accuracy
Your Responsibility:
- You will plan and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand
- You must analyze inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts
- You must develops and maintains inputs to inventory system, including network changes, lead-times, cost and delivery expectations, past and future promotional events, and new product introductions.
- Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods.
- Partners with Sales, Projects, Finance, Product Management, and internal customers to develop best practices for rolling forecast (e.g. implement appropriate forecasting technique, identify macro-economic factors, review trends and monitor mix shifts amongst product family options, understand changes in demand drivers etc.) thereby improving forecast accuracy.
- Especially for systems businesses, the demand planner needs to include bid & proposal, project execution and reconciliation with finance.
- Works with Product Management team to coordinate new product launches, phase outs and platform changes etc. and incorporate them into the demand plan.
- Monitors finished goods Stock Keeping Units (SKU) levels, recommends SKU rationalization initiatives and feeds them into the inventory check book (ICBK).
- Reviews and improves forecast accuracy both at the aggregate and the individual product level by identifying key root causes for forecast errors, and implements initiatives to improve future forecast accuracy.

Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, preferably in Economics.
- 2 years related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge and experience on inventory calculation & analyzing, plan production and sale forecast.
- Strong skills with team-oriented attitude in safety & integrity, quality & customer focus, ownership & performance, collaboration & trust.
- Solid understanding of database structures and data modeling.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and able to communicate with different levels in organization.
- Fluent in English.
