Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the installation, repairing, and modification of T&D products on-site with medium to complex work instructions.
You will support troubleshooting on an emergency basis.
You will follow Hitachi Energy processes, manuals, instructions, quality standards, and HSE standards.
You will have a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach required.
You will listen closely to customer requirements and give feedback to the organization to develop new service solutions or opportunities.
You will have a level 4 or level 5 certification and can manage Level 2 certified employees (<5 Field Service Engineers).
You will be self-driven and working under your ownership and responsible for ensuring safety on site.
You will be socially competent to lead co-workers on-site.
You will work on-site within Japan or abroad with travel > 70-80%.

Your background:
A degree in Electrical or Mechanical background and further education are beneficial.
Required 1 to 3 years of experience or 3 to 5 years' experience in technical for GIS/GCB or TR.
Certified Level 5 as per Hitachi Energy certification guidelines.
Required in PICW (Person in charge of Work) Level 3.
Proficiency in spoken and read English is preferred.
