We are looking for an Operations Planner to support a growing organization. The successful candidate will take on a range of responsibilities in the Transformers Business Unit and will be based in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecast and inventory levels
Serve as primary point of contact between production, order fulfillment, logistics and sales team regarding production planning and scheduling
Provide the optimum delivery dates for customer orders and quotations
Determine resource requirements including labor, materials and equipment to meet production goals and ensure that all resources are available and allocated efficiently
Asses production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks. Develop plans to address capacity constraints and ensure smooth production flow
Analyze production performance metrics to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement
Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, production delays or material delays and inform relevant stakeholders
Develop collaborative environment for the optimum process execution within the factory to improve customer on time delivery
Prepare related periodic reports and perform standard & ad hoc analysis
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Industrial Engineering)
Proficiency in both written and verbal English language
Experience in ERP systems, preferably in SAP
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning functions
Excellent communication, analytical and follow-up skills
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
Military service completed for male applicants
