Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for authoring requirements for existing systems, conducting
requirements-based testing, and managing documentation including design, configuration
management, and validation. The role involves working with a variety of tools and technologies,
including Python, Spark/Flink, SQL, Terraform, and AWS services.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spark or Flink for data processing.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly AWS Athena, Glue Data Catalog and
Jobs, and EMR.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:
• Author and maintain requirements for existing systems.
• Perform requirements-based testing to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Create and manage documentation related to design, configuration management, and
validation.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Spark/Flink.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code to manage AWS resources.
• Implement version control using Git to manage codebase.
• Utilize AWS services such as Athena, Glue Data Catalog, and Jobs, and EMR for data
processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
of solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve
processes and solutions.
