Mission Statement:
The Regional Product Manager brings the knowledge of a senior technical specialist to develop and implement a local product strategy in line with the Global Product Roadmap to ensure we continue to evolve and serve the needs of the market with sustainable, profitable growth.
Your Responsibilities:
The Regional Product Manager creates, plans, and ensures implementation of the local product strategy including customization and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
Implements global portfolio strategy into the region, primary influencer to future designs / investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and Market needs.
Enhances our Competitiveness and market knowledge with key regional/local customers and/or internal stakeholders
Product/solution competitiveness analysis and actions. Leading the implementation, validating savings and business cases for DtV projects.
Competitor benchmarking (market intelligence, new releases)
Market price overview and benchmarks to feed competitiveness actions
Regional product requirements (changes in regulations, standards, legislations, …)
Provides input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives
Provides feedback to Global Product Managers on existing and new product performance
Leads the Market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S, Hub Application Engineering. Create and adapt marketing information to the respective market/region
Identify co-creation/partnership opportunities
Provide input to the global product roadmap on regional market/technical trends and competitor movements
Secures rolling out of the approved strategy and product portfolio in the HUB.
Drives and support ToT processes as provider or receiver unit

Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. A master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical department (R&D, Electrical Engineering or Design) and/or Project Manager and/or Product Marketing, Sales and Business development in the assigned sector(s) and preferably associated with transformer businesses
The person in this role should have strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience.
Intercultural sensitiveness.
Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams
Be willing to travel ~25%
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
