The Role In this crucial role, you will lead and mentor a technically skilled CyberSecurity team responsible for managing and enhancing security operations for global customers. You will oversee risk management, SOC operations, and IT compliance, ensuring that our clients' systems remain secure and compliant with industry standards. With your in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud security and experience with tools like SIEM, SOAR, and EDR, you will be the initial point of contact for client requirements and operational issue escalations. You will also be responsible for conducting periodic vulnerability assessments, managing the vulnerability lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as FedRAMP.
What You'll Bring - 7+ years of IT industry experience with strong expertise in Cyber Security and Cloud Security services.
- 5+ years of experience leading Security Operations, including risk management, SOC, IT compliance, and information security assessments.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor large CyberSecurity teams supporting global customers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse security team.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud security best practices, standards, and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with security solutions like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and Vulnerability Management tools.
- Experience in conducting and managing vulnerability assessments across various platforms, including AWS.
- Strong understanding of security controls related to regulatory requirements such as FedRAMP, PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to compile and present security reports to stakeholders.
- Ability to act as an L3 Security Engineer, providing specialized expertise in incident response and threat analysis.
