Mission Statement:
Environmental and Employee Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees including: Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety. Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Your Responsibilities:
Support Power Transformer Business in meeting the HSE KPIs of the Business Units
Weekly call with all the Power Transformer Units to ensure compliance
Prepare the POWER TRANSFORMER business in line with Hitachi Energy Management system requirements
Imparting Mandatory Training to POWER TRANSFORMER Team across the HUB
Lead the Person InCharge of Work training requirements in the HUB
Reviewing risk assessment and Lifesaving rules compliance of POWER TRANSFORMER in HUB and supporting the countries
Manage all required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO standards
Compile all NCs, prepare corrective action and follow up for closure of NCs for POWER TRANSFORMER Units
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses
Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and recommend corrective action
Prepare and timely submit all MIS & reports
Lead and support the factories on Machine Safety Requirements and compliance. Implement the Machine Safety standards in all the HUB Factories.

Your Background:
Graduation in Science and engineering
10-12 years of experience in field of HSE.
Recognized certificate in HSE. NEBOSH IGC Certified.
Good knowledge of legal requirements
Review and analyze past incidents and make action to learn from incidents
Prepare and timely submit all MIS & report.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
