Location: National Cancer Centre Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the PBT system, including testing, inspection, adjustment, and calibration tasks, both at heights and within equipment enclosures.
  • Maintain, test, and troubleshoot key systems, including:
    • Accelerator systems
    • Irradiation devices
    • Patient alignment systems
    • Safety interlock systems
  • Monitor the operation of the PBT system and identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Adopt and integrate new technology, products, and processes to enhance system functionality.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Fulfill work orders, submit reports (including timecards, working reports, and expense reports), and adhere to company and customer procedures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning activities when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including radiation safety regulations, company policies, and applicable laws.
  • Work with high-voltage equipment, magnetic fields, and in radiation-prone environments.
  • Rotating shift work is required.
     

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with large-scale electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, particularly in environments involving high-voltage, radiation, and electromagnetic fields.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering documents (e.g., schematics, circuit diagrams, piping diagrams).
  • Experience using electronic test and measurement instruments such as DVM, oscilloscopes, and micrometers.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex equipment and systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable with working at heights and lifting up to 20 kg repeatedly.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of teamwork.
