Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to execute New Model Packaging development responsibilities and act as a liaison to USGRP1 concerning new model supplier packaging, efficiency, VA activity, packaging contractor evaluation and costing, overall SOP management, and budget conformance and planning.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • 2-year College Degree concentrating in Business or Supply Chain Management related program OR commensurate experience in a purchasing, supply chain management, or packaging development.
  • Knowledge of computer systems (specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) to perform and present analysis for necessary job duties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to create and present concepts to internal teams and all levels of management.
  • Ability to work with multiple sites remotely using TEAMS.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • 4-year College Degree concentrating in the Packaging Engineering or Business field of study.
  • Experience in working in a multicultural business environment.

Software:

  • AutoCAD experience is desired
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Power BI

Essential to Job Functions

  • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
  • Ability to lift and/or move to 25 pounds
  • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen.

Work Environment – Travel, Noise, Smells, Quiet, Indoors or Outdoors, etc.

  • Requires up to 40% travel
  • 2-3 days working in the reporting location
  • Open-Office Setting environment, with occasional visits to production facilities
  • Requires night meetings to collaborate with overseas bases
  • Factory Setting with Noise
