General Summary:
The Accounting Coordinator (Accounts Payable) ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Responsible for preparing accounts payable register and related reports. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process direct and indirect materials’ payables. Communication with vendors. Set up and maintain vendors’ information in Glovia. Match invoices to purchase orders. Prepare check runs twice a month. Monthly analysis of price variances and Accounts Payables aging. Quarterly assistance with financial audits and auditors’ requests. Prepare journal entries and calculate accruals. Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory tracking. Support daily requests. Assist in the organization of the accounting electronic files.
Qualifications, Education, Work Experience, Certification:
At least 2 yeasr experience with data entry and transfer information ERP experience is desired but not required Previous experience in Accounts Payables is desired but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong conflict management skills Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Manage multiple conflicting priorities. Ability to interact with employees at all levels. Self-directed and motivated. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements:
Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
