Description

Accountabilities

  • Support or individually resolve issues related to product safety, manufacturing production processes, serve as a technical advisor to suppliers and actively participate in product development projects as a manufacturing representative.
  • Assist other colleagues as a constructive team member to ensure the success of the task at hand.
  • Research, plan and implement manufacturing process improvements or new processes.
  • Refine and cost reduce manufacturing processes and products.
  • Able to manage, organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Able to create written instructions and clearly and accurately provide oral instructions.
  • Computer proficient in current MS Windows operating system and applications such as MS Office.
  • All efforts will have a significant effect on quality, delivery, cost, and manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft 360 applications-Word, Excel, Teams
  • Experience working with or creating BOMs and Routings for components
  • Demonstrated experience within a manufacturing environment (e.g. printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly. electromechanical assembly, casting, forging, machining, tooling, and fixture design)
  • Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week onsite

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Initiative and are freethinking with passion for continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of LEAN/Sigma continuous improvement methodology
  • Demonstrated experience creating visual work instructions

Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other appropriate Engineering science disciplines with preference for Electrical Engineering
  • Current Junior or Senior at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December, 2025 and December, 2026
  • Or enrolled in a Master’s program with a graduation date between December, 2025 and December, 2026
