Senior R&D Technical Writer

Description

How you will make an impact:

• Create, update and publish end-user targeted documentation.
• Create and update product documentation and descriptions without oversight.
• Cooperate with Product Managers, Development Teams and Subject Matter Experts.
• Take the lead of documentation projects.
• Define process for creation and maintenance documentation.
• Look for improvements in daily work.
• Share your knowledge with other team members.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or higher in technical writing, English, Communications, Engineering or a related area of study
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• At least 6 years in a similar role with some experience of writing for technical audiences
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills to prepare easy-to-read text in plain English
• Practical knowledge of using international style guides for writing in English is beneficial
• Experience in working with a docs-as-code workflow and ability to prepare simple code samples is an advantage
• Experience with technical writing tools (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker), content management systems, source control systems (Git), Azure DevOps
