General Responsibilities:
Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc is looking for an experienced CAE Engineer to join our CAE/CAD Team. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for designing, planning and coordinating multiple processes of simulations of product development used in product design, to all the business units the group currently supports. The main focus of the know-how is NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness). In addition, this position will be to coordinate all product development activity between OEM customer and responsible departments within the Hitachi Astemo.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong/effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel and support activities and coordination at the global level is required.
Education: Minimum Master level on mechanical engineering or equivalent. PhD degree is preferable
Experience: 15+ years applicable experience in related field (NVH and NVH CAE).
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Working conditions:
Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Have ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week.
Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed.
