Job description
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Participate in the and act as be accountable for planning and management of all the Supply Chain requirements, for the whole life cycle of the assigned project

  • Together with the Project Planner, is accountable for planning and monitoring the progress of the project activities

  • Support Program budget definition for materials/services/packages & subcontractors

  • Support the Project Constructions Manager in the management of Subcontractors /packages

  • Manage Vendors/Subcontractors relationship through Programme team members (i.e. Project Engineer, Construction Manager) internal support

  • Gather procurement possible solution to aggregate Program budget external cost

  • Update and optimize Project needs from a Supply Chain perspective

  • Propose the Long Lead Time Materials Planning solutions

  • Propose the Make or Buy strategy for the Project (where applicable)
  • Interface with the factory for make orders

  • Propose actions to manage risks (impact estimation & mitigation plan)

  • Define Procurement - Logistic and Delivery Project Plan and ensure its execution

  • Manage material documentation if required by the Project

  • Ensure Vendors are engaged and expediting process is effective

  • Manage the SC Planning Support resource to assist Programme team members with logistic and admin processes

    KEY SHARED ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Total delivery time for materials (shared with Logistic resources)
  • Priority definition with management
  • Support the technical interface between project team members and Supply Chain

    Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the development of the culture of continuous improvement

Job requirements
Required Skills & Experience
(MUST-HAVE minimum requirements)
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

The Supply Chain Planner has to have knowledge on the following skills:

  • Project Management:
Knowledge of project management (planning & control) techniques and tools, in order to guarantee adequate scheduling of activities and consistent allocation of involved resources

  • Logistic:
Capability to analyze an AS-IS scenario (need and constraints) in order to proactively propose (in cooperation with the logistic dept) a team solution (cost/benefit for: warehouse + transport requirement + Logistic procedure + custom constraints)

  • Cost Controlling & Budgeting Concepts/Basics:
Cost analysis methodologies and process for cost controlling/budgeting

  • SAP:
SC module or similar IT tools - ERP knowledge

Desired Skills & Experience
(Your Ideal Candidate- knowing the ideal candidate doesn' t exist)
Signalling Concepts:
Basic knowledge on signalling system architecture and Company product portfolio is an additional plus.
Preferably, knowledge of the planning concept / MRP techniques

For the first months the resource may
be requested to stay in Naples (Italy)
for training.
