Background

Our core Testing team work across the full testing lifecycle and various technologies to ensure we delivery quality solutions to meet the needs and requirements of our clients. The role will involve working with a wide array of testing frameworks and tools. Successful candidates will require experience across different testing types, tools and technologies

This opportunity is for a proven and experienced Automation Engineer / Developer in Test to join a fast growing test consultancy business, driving commercial consulting engagements through managing the delivery of high quality testing solutions in enterprise-scale IT projects.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of Automation Testing solutions to meet the needs and requirements of our client. This will involve working with a wide array of both leading commercial and open source automation tools.

Required Skills

·       Passionate about Automation Testing and Quality Assurance, and have the desire to pursue a career in our Automation Test CoE

• A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in Automation Quality Assurance
• Previous working experience on designing, implementing and maintaining Automation Test Frameworks.
• Experience in planning, designing and implementing Test Cases for manual and automated test scripts enabling more reliable, re-usable and quality deliverables.
• Proven experience in one of the Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Lean Kanban, XP.
• Firm knowledge of BDD/TDD and Risk/based design approaches and tools such as SpecFlow, Cucumber and JBehave or similar.
• Experience in at least one CI/CD tool and Test Management tool such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira, HP-ALM or similar.
• Strong automation scripting capabilities with experience on tools such as Selenium, Appium, Jmeter, SoapUI, Postman, Jenkins or similar.
• Multi-platform and multi-device automation testing for Web, APIs and Mobile solutions.
• A technical background in software development and ideally the candidate will possess programming skills (C#, Java , Python).
• The candidate needs to have good communication skills and have worked in a multinational consultancy environment with effective iterations within the team and with the client.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher is desirable
