  • Responsible for MRP for all components per assigned programs
  • Follows up with suppliers to ensure on time deliveries and work to target all suppliers are >90% on time.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and quantity of RM and WIP inventory
  • Responsible to accurately maintain item master files and other files as directed.
  • Achieves raw material and work-in-process inventory targets
  • Reconcile inventory balances
  • Orders components for production plan.
  • Responsible for supplier on-time delivery.
  • Defect audits for assigned programs to ensure proper inventory transactions
  • Set up of production BOM’s via RPL provided
  • Track all current and future program changes
  • Meet budget targets on Inventory turns, Inventory losses, Expedites, Excess Inventory and Shrinkage
  • Work with Production, Quality, Production Engineering and additional CFT members to meet team objectives
  • Oversee and coordinate inventory accuracy in conjunction with cycle count team


  • Bachelor’s Degree or five years of Inventory Control / manufacturing experience  
  • Prior Automotive experience preferred
  • Production Control experience preferred
  • APICS knowledge preferred
  • Previous experience working with an ERP solution preferred
  • Must be able to handle a fast paced production environment 
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Ability to self-start
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Possibility to stay after hours and be contacted during off hours for production issues that may arise
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office software (Especially Excel) 
  • Ability to call and lead meetings with Cross Functional Team members
