SHE & Facilities Supervisor (m/f/d)

In this role you will be responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) matters and work together with the management team and wider business to drive SHE agenda in line with the needs of the business. You have joint responsibility for maintenance and operation of Plant Facilities with the Facilities teams.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Develop plans to achieve key sections, targets and budgets. Ensure compliance with applicable legal legislation. Monitor Plant Facilities operations, processes, equipment and systems.

  • Eliminate abnormal conditions and issues, ensure PM completion targets are achieved.
  • Co-ordinate resources to achieve required Plant Facilities/SHE tasks.
  • Identify, support and drive short to medium Site and SHE improvements.
  • Maintain a teamwork environment and one that promotes team driven continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide direction as required and ensure training of direct and other staff to ensure key SHE concerns are addressed.


Profile and Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH National Certificate or NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety Environmental/IEMA qualifications would be a distinct advantage

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of common facilities management legislation / standards would be a distinct advantage

  • Experience in the safe and environmentally sound maintenance of site utilities and facilities

  • Experience in providing health and safety advice across all levels

  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills and

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and remain calm under pressure
