About the Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a focused and motivated individual to join our team at Revesby in the position of Customer Support Manager. This role will see you positively enabling and leading a team of skilled and motivated individuals who are passionate about providing a high level of after sales customer support for Hitachi product lines.

Promoting business growth and development within your department, this role will have you maintaining a positive link between valued customers and the company, meeting and where possible, exceeding customer expectations in line with budget and project timeframes. This position will be best suited for a dedicated professional who is connected and committed to delivering service and maintenance outcomes to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.

About You - to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Safety Commitment - Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi's number one priority
  • Technical & Mechanical Aptitude - Relevant heavy diesel trade or mechanical engineering qualification
  • Pro-active Leadership - Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a talented team, whilst building valuable relationships with customers, peers and the community.
  • Business Development & Strategic Vision - Identifying continual service improvement and actively chasing every new or potential sales opportunity
  • Financial Coordination - Proven financial acumen with prior exposure to departmental budgets, evaluating parts and labour profitability and project expenditure
  • Personable and Professional Communication Skills - above all else, your personality and charismatic character will be what sets you apart from the rest when dealing with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer success stories
