Your new role

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Administrator based in our Stoke Gifford train Maintenance Centre in Bristol. This is a varied role and will involve supporting the facilities department. This role is on a fixed term contract basis.

 

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following deliverables:

  • Updating of logbooks for planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to maintain statutory and warranty compliance.

  • Administration of defects reporting.
  • Administration and maintenance of SAP.
  • Input of Site Operating Procedures.
  • Input of purchase orders & goods receipting.
  • Logging and tracking of quotations.
  • Updating of energy/waste documents.
  • Contractor management.
 

About you

 

Essential Skills

  • Expert IT skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Tools and Diary Management

  • Strong administration and organisation experience.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance to, rules and regulations

  • Experience in SAP or a similar tool. 

Qualifications

  • English & Mathematics GCSE level or equivalent

  • Vocational equivalents in administration or business

 
Behavioural
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to represent Hitachi in a professional manner at all times
  • Good team worker
  • Pragmatic, practical and flexible attitude


Desirable
  • Typing skills typically 50wpm
  • Excellent report writing ability – Advanced formatting.
  • Previous experience in SAP
