We are looking for a quality assurance
engineer to monitor quality management processes in our projects to ensure the
proper management process for a service/product which supplier provides.
You will be monitoring
all processes of system development and system operation to identify and
resolve deviation of its quality management plan. You will also support
reviewing documents and test results to ensure supplier’s providing quality.
This role plays an important
part in our company’s management for system development/operation process. The
successful candidate will be sensitive to a quality and will never shy away
from offering frank observations / recommendations. We’re looking for a
professional with the experience necessary to improve our management processes.
A proven track record of experience is essential.
Update Quality Management Standard in our company to
fit for the system development/operation in Singapore.
Proceed to apply Quality Management Standard to all system development/operation projects.
Monitor and report QA processes in a project and ensure that they are following a quality management plan.
Provides feedback to a project team on the process improvement of system development/operation.
Support to Review specifications, technical design documents and test related documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Stay up-to-date with new Quality Management Standard (Defined document of our quality management process).
Provide training and support PM in terms of a quality in a project.
Operate activities that are stipulated in Quality Assurance Standard (Defined document of quality assurance activity).
Provides direction and mentoring to fellow QA team members.
Leads process improvement activities for the entire organization or for a specific project
Creates overall standard regulations and criteria for conducting internal quality assurance activities.
Receive failure notifications from SE and reports them within the company.
Instructs the responsible departments in all aspects of failure management, from investigation of the cause to handling of the issue.
Maintain an advanced level of knowledge and expertise on quality assurance concepts and methodologies.
Be flexible and creative in handling multiple activities
and contentions in priorities. Take initiative to resolve issues and tackle
Qualifications and skills
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with testing includes Unit Test, System Integration, Regression and User Acceptance Testing.
Hands-on experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
Hands-on experience Reviewing application requirements and project documentation.
Hands-on experience leading and mentoring Quality Assurance teams
Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive quality management plan
Strong knowledge of system engineering and development life cycles
Knowledge and expertise regarding quality management
Ability to analyze data statistically
Ability to use knowledge to find problems and logically solve them
Ability to work with project members and negotiate to improve processes
Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others
Advanced written and oral communication skills in English
Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT engineering or a related subject
1+ years’ in Japan oriented company is a plus
3+ years’ in quality control or quality assurance position, or
3+ years’ in project management position
