Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) currently have a position available for a suitably qualified High Voltage Electrician to join our Muswellbrook Field Service teams.

Reporting to the Senior Field Service Supervisor, you will work an even time roster, providing diagnostic and electrical repairs on customer equipment across a number of sites within the region.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance services and diagnostic evaluations on Hitachi Excavators and Electric Drive Trucks
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reporting
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with customers, peers and other departments

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • High Voltage Electrician or Electrical Fitter Mechanic trade qualifications
  • A current NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Extensive post trade experience preferably with either; Hitachi, G.E and or Siemens Electric Drive systems in off highway Haul Trucks is desirable
  • Good customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Have a strong safety focus and abide by company and site safety processes
  • Be flexible with roster changes and work as a Team member.
