Ensure that the projects made, in house or outsourced, are complies with the contract and system requirements; ensure the transitability of vehicle within the permanent way. Ensure that the alignment interfaces are managed in all STS projects. Survey the tests and commissioning activity. Take part to a main project or to more projects of minor entity. Accountabilities
- Ensure the double check of the requirements of each project within its competence is properly completed
- Ensure identification and resolution of the interfaces of auxiliary systems with the main subsystems (e.g. CW, Rolling Stock, etc.)
- Ensure the application of quality procedures for the emissions of the documents at every stage of the design.
- Ensure there are no risks not assessed with respect to the safety of the works designed and compared to budgeted costs.
- Ensure the verification of the interfaces alignment and that each step are managed and properly resolved
- Ensure the identification of critical issues in the development of the project and prepare mitigation actions
- Civil Work Interface with civil contractors
- The use of BIM for CW interfaces definition and management, incorporated into the project delivery strategy as part of the Engineering Management Plan.
Job requirements Required Skills/ Knowledge
From 5 up to 10 year experience
of engineering expertise For the area of Engineering Processes
. Interface team management. Knowledge Expected
BIM processes involving the construction, supply chain, logistics, program management, etc.; Terminology used in BIM in contexts of design, construction and work management Operative Capabilities
Development of an implementation plan within the company BIM; Setting up the modeling process and managing the objects associated to the model; evaluation and understanding of the specifications contained in the documentation required in national and international BIM operational contexts; setting up the modeling process and managing the objects associated to the model. Skills Expected
Organization and coordination of working groups within the organization; Identification of the objectives of implementing BIM in the design, construction and management phases of the work. For the area of Tools
. Main criteria to select the tools according to the contractual needs (Client) and our current processes and tools. Difference between Linear and Punctual projects, and tools strategy related. Knowledge Expected
Functionality of the various BIM technology during the life cycle of a work; How to exchange information between the various BIM technologies; Methods and technologies for data sharing, collaboration, coordination of working groups; BIM tools used in the national and international market for modeling, verification and control of BIM models. Operative Capabilities
Identification of the hardware and software tools needed for the performance of BIM activities; Definition of the evaluation and control criteria of BIM data in the contexts of design, construction and management of the work; Identification of the levels of graphic and informative definition of the BIM models during the design, construction and management phases of the work. Skills Expected
Management and coordination of BIM models from different suppliers; Information management of the BIM model for the design, construction and management phases of the work; Control and verification of geometrical and non-geometrical data included in the models.

ability to operate the configuration management in BIM context. For the area of: Management of organization
Team: effort evaluation and staffing criteria Knowledge Expected
Regulations and national and international BIM standards; Legal and operational responsibilities between the parties in the design, construction and management phases of the work. Operative Capabilities
Preparation of documentation and BIM specifications required by the contracts; understanding of the main criteria and specifications contained in the documentation required in national and international BIM operational contexts. Skills Expected
Definition of standards and company guidelines for implementation and use of BIM in different topics of the construction industry (designers, suppliers, companies, clients); Definition of intellectual property and license for the use of the model and products derived from the use of the same.
