HR Senior Generalist
 

The HR Senior Generalist will play an important role in the America’s HR Client Delivery organization.  This position will be involved with and may lead best in class HR initiatives as part of our collaborative human capital management model.  You will partner with and provide support to the HR Business Partners, as well as collaborating with our Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Performance Management, Resource Management, Immigration, and Learning and Development).  This role will be instrumental in daily implementation and support to the business, leaders and employees of our HCM programs.  This role will support both strategic and tactical tasks to implement quality solutions directly to the business.  The range of focus for this role will include supporting our talent and leadership to support employee relations, talent change requests, influencing and improving HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies and with state and national law, and supporting the overall organizational talent strategy.  This position will be fully engaged and fast-paced in a team environment working on multiple Human Resource initiatives across various teams to drive desired business results.  Manage and administer employee relations and progressive discipline processes for the firm, ensuring proper retention of documentation. 


Qualifications

Essential Education, Skills and Environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development or a related field required.
  • Five years of HR experience in a Human Resources function supporting management and employees on talent development, organizational change, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee relations
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results
  • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, initiative and follow-up skills
  • Must have strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Must have solid HR fundamentals and broad-based experience in HR, including employee relations and knowledge and understanding of EEO laws, Affirmative Action and conflict resolution,
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, labor and compliance requirements
  • Mentor other HR Generalists
  • Create, review, and evaluate firm policies and practices to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
  • Analyze trends and metrics; partner with management to develop solutions related to personnel issues and/or development needs
  • Ability to influence business processes and manage change
  • Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to operate independently in order to review, diagnose, and implement solutions to HR issues within client groups.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
  • Solid knowledge of HR industry best practices, policies, procedures
  • Professional services or consulting industry experience highly preferred
  • HRIS experience (i.e. Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Advanced MS Excel and reporting analysis experience
  • Strong process, planning, time management, communication, organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills required
