Our recent expansion has afforded us a unique opportunity to look for a strategic, dynamic, and forward-thinking Maintenance Supervisor looking to “shift gears” and join the team in our Monroe, GA facility. This position will work on shift G shift (Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.).
 
Chief Duties and/or Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for planning and oversight of maintenance technicians.
  2. Analyzes operational problems and develops modifications in design to improve efficiency.
  3. Utilizing Maintenance Management System (MP2) to create work orders and generate execute PMs.
  4. Maintaining and continuously evaluating plant-wide Maintenance activities.
  5. Evaluating Maintenance Technician’s skill level.
  6. Conducting daily meetings pertaining to ongoing machine down-time and previous shifts downtime.
  7. Supporting internal customers (manufacturing engineering, production lines, utilities, etc.).
  8. Supporting technical items for all Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  9. Supervising junior maintenance activities.
  10. Responsible for Daily machine down-time reporting Maintenance Sequel Server System.

Qualifications

Qualified Applicants will possess the following: 
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required; advanced vocational training beyond high school is preferred (Industrial Maintenance Certificate).
  • At least 5 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred).
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Special skills required: Understanding of CNC/Machining, electronic/electrical, PLC Logic, continual safety awareness, test equipment, schematics, mechanical, metric system, blueprint reading, measuring techniques, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Must have clear understanding of reading and interpreting blueprint and drawing. Also understand drawing symbols.
  • Must have a good mechanical aptitude and understanding of how mechanical mechanisms function. 

Physical Demands:

Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.  Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds.

 

Work Environment: 

Combination of office and plant environment.  May be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
