Reporting to the V.P. of HRBP -Americas, The Human Resources Business Partner position is responsible for supporting a shift in leadership performance and helps the operation achieve excellence by influencing, coaching and working directly with Leadership Teams, People Leaders and Front-Line Leaders by executing the talent strategy, focusing on the work environment, employee relations, employee retention and business processes and executing the business HR strategy.

The HR Business Partner performs needs analysis to identify gaps in areas of compensation, talent, recruiting and change management and partners with global COE’s and subject matter experts to deliver solutions across the full employee lifecycle to meet the business needs. They possess a solid understanding of all HR functions, Federal contracts, labor relations and union contracts negotiations and works with business clients and partners in areas such as employee relations and performance management.

Responsible for providing business partnership to Leaders and Executes HR business strategies to drive key business results; provides guidance on HR matters. Deliver HR partnership to Leaders through workforce planning, talent management, performance management, employee relations as the subject matter expert in Human Resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coach and supports leaders in policies and procedures across organization; interprets both policies and changes to policy
  • Perform risk mitigation by advising organization in compliance with local laws
  • Seeks ways to proactively improve organizational processes and outcomes
  • Implements solutions that are aligned and consistent with global HR best practices
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management, including, coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
  • Influences Leadership teams of assigned business in order to execute HR Strategy
  • Maintains broad-based knowledge of the organization, its strategy and operations; uses knowledge of business and HR metrics to facilitate business decisions
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the labor market and its relationship to organizational success
  • Partners with managers and HR global teams to proactively implement business solutions, utilizing HR expertise and perspective; supports managers on HR projects
  • Proactively coaches’ managers, directors and business leaders on HR and business-related issues to create and maintain a great work environment and culture
  • Maintains compliance with union contract and supports future negotiations and maintains a positive working relationship with representatives
  • Executes programs, policies, and procedures to drive an engaged, diverse and high performing organizational culture
  • Partners with leaders to implements and deliver solutions and interventions that address issues of retention, change management, employee engagement, and leadership development
  • Analyzes root causes of work environment issues; manages interventions and solutions in collaboration and cooperation with key stakeholders


To be considered you must have a bachelor’s degree from accredited university with an advanced degree preferred and you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 10 years of work experience and/or previous HRBP experience at Manager level required
  • SHRM certificate ideal
  • Expertise in supporting business units as an HR generalist in federally regulated environments required
  • Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation skills, and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of labor relations and union environments
  • Ability to understand business needs and connect those to human resources strategies and plans
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and execute process improvement and change management within an organization
  • Proven conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sound values with high integrity to commencing employment, you will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
