Hitachi Rail STS USA is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Cybersecurity Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Toronto, CA.

Accountabilities:
  • Ensure the identification, the management and the fulfillment of the contractual requirements
  • Contribute to the identification and resolution of the interfaces with the main subsystems (e.g. Signaling, TLC, DCS, etc.) and Customer
  • Guarantee the preparation of the Preliminary Design:
  • Conceptual Design
  • Security Plan
  • High Level Risk Assessment
  • Detail Risk Assessment
  • Security Study
  • Security Report (include the VA and PT test results)
  • Guarantee the continuous security monitoring of the System in accordance to the technology innovation
  • Security Audits
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
  • Telecommunications System Architectures
  • APTA SS-CCS-RP-001-10 and APTA SS-CCS-RP-002-13
  • ISO 27000
  • NIST
  • IEC 62443
  • Backbone Transmission Systems and Elements
  • IP Networking - Wired & Wireless
  • System integration knowledge
  • SIEM experience
  • Firewall Management Knowledge
  • Active Directory and Radius Configuration Management
  • Nessus Tool Professional experience for Vulnerability and Penetration Tests
  • Cisco Certificate CCNA, CCNA Security or CCNP
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:

Education:
Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree or Equivalent Technical Background
