The aim of this role is to provide assistance to the HICSE Quality Systems Manager in delivering the Quality Plan and provide support to HICSE staff with Quality activities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager, tasks shall include but not be limited to:
Supporting staff with compliance to the Business Management System and other requirements
Supporting improvements to the activities performed in HICSE for effectiveness and efficiency
Identifying non-conforming products and activities and reducing risk of occurrence
Achieving success in the role will be indicated by performance on tasks such as:
Adherence to the HICSE Business Management System
Implementation and maintenance of allotted HICSE BMS content
Performing audits to the relevant standards and processes and reporting on findings
Quality investigations and reporting on findings
Identifying and recommending areas for improvement
Implementing agreed improvement plans, including providing quality training
Providing input to the HICSE quality plan and improvements in Quality processes
Driving and managing improvement projects including Quality Circles
Quality Assurance input to project reviews
Key Skills and Experience
Interpersonal skills – communication, listening, logic, influence
Understanding of ISO9001 principles
Basic IT skills – MS office
Use of quality tools – including investigation, root cause analysis
Basic auditing and clear report writing
Knowledge of BMS and usage
