Job Description

The Product Specialist position is an entry-level position based in Cypress, CA.  You will be trained to become an expert-level user of our Hitachi Automotive Aftermarket products. Once trained you will create user documentation for the Hitachi Automotive products about features, functions and benefits.  You will create product installation videos and webinars.  Present training to customer sales teams and automotive technicians.  Attend Tradeshows to promote Hitachi Aftermarket products in North America. Travel will be required to North American customer sites.

Position requires 25-75% travel.

Essential Functions

  • Create promotional and training videos
  • Contribute and create marketing exhibits
  • Attend customer tradeshows. 
  • Train sales associates on Hitachi Automotive products.
  • Create training documents for the Hitachi Automotive products for our distributors and retailers. 
  • Interact with International operations to integrate training programs into our global portfolio.
  • Create and perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation to customers.
  • Be a team player.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Automotive repair/Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Public speaking
  • Ability to train others.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Engineering
