The Opportunity

HCA is currently seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join the Forrestdale Remanufacturing team in a full time permanent capacity. We are looking for someone who has:

  • A trade qualification as a fitter machinist with industry experience
  • Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components
  • Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment
  • Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Be willing and able to work shift work and overtime as required
  • Experience in a production line style workshop
  • A safety focus with a good understanding of OHS principles
  • A forklift license and experience will be advantageous
