About The Opportunity

Our successfully busy and friendly Mackay team is looking for a Parts Sales Representative to join the team in a permanent full time position. In this role, you will be an important link between customers and the company showcasing your motivated drive in ensuring Hitachi's high level of service delivery is maintained at all times.

This position will have you promoting and generating parts sales streams with the intention of increasing sales as you liaise with the current and potential customer base. With your strong computer literacy, you will also be involved in accurate reporting of activity, sales, opportunities and market activity.

You will enjoy being hands-on with quality OEM machinery as you undertake customer machine inspections and represent the Hitachi brand with Personable and Professional presentation with strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

About You - To be successful in this role, the Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated parts sales experience in the Mining, Construction or Earthmoving industry
  • Ability to read and interpret OEM parts schematics and manuals
  • Previous experience in parts interpreting would be advantageous
  • Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • A motivated and ambitious commitment to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and Analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRM
  • Confident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and a current driver's license
