Connected Autonomous Vehicles area, as well as to a variety of different other
sectors with projects of global significance, and to become part of a cutting-edge
Automotive Software Engineer (m/f/d)
- R&D Project management and
identifying/understanding (new) customers’ challenges and their
- Development of algorithm
specifications, coding, and evaluation of software functions must be
carried out in collaboration with our colleagues at global level.

Autonomous Driving and related activities in academia and industries.
- Proposing and implementing
advanced algorithms in sustainable society, also based on customer
requirements, including their validation within embedded systems.

events and business activities with respect to the above-mentioned topics.
- The candidate should have at
least MSc. or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Robotics or related
engineering field, with proven industrial experience.
- Skills in technical writing and
- Hands-on experience with the
integration of SW and HW components in prototype environment (for example
in test vehicles).
- Hands-on experience with
data-generating sensors (for example automotive sensors like
stereo-Camera, Radar and Lidar, V2X).
- Experience of using Linux
environment and ROS/LCM.
- Experience with embedded
software development on CPU and FPGA.
- Excellent in programming C
and/or C++ (11/14) and proficient in C# and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Advanced Driver
Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) would be considered
- Excellence with automotive
tools (e.g. CANalyzer / CANope, Matlab / Simulink) and networking (e.g.
CANbus) would be considered a “plus”.
- Knowledge on Functional Safety
(ISO26262) and A-SPICE would be considered a “plus”.
- Willingness to travel within
Europe, and eventually to Japan and/or to US.
- Ability to build and maintain
strong relationships with stakeholders, show strong skills of agility,
creativity, flexibility and passion.
- Experience in (probabilistic)
sensor fusion technologies for MOT and Localization would be considered a
- Excellent in statistics,
machine learning, computer vision would be considered a “plus”.
- Conversant with Docker system.
